> Gestalt is a clinical reasoning practice platform for medical students. It gives students a place to rehearse clinical thinking between placements, with AI-generated feedback grounded in trusted medical knowledge.

## What is Gestalt?

Gestalt helps medical students practise the habits of clinical reasoning: talking to a patient, organising the history, building a differential, spotting red flags, and seeing what they missed. It is designed as a supplementary learning tool for use between placements, not as a replacement for supervised patient contact.

Unlike generic AI tools, Gestalt is purpose-built for clinical reasoning practice. Its feedback is guided by structured medical knowledge and trusted sources, including the New Zealand Formulary for medication and treatment information relevant to New Zealand students.
